Together Treasure Valley Invests $17,000 in Our Future

Together Treasure Valley, a collaboration of area businesses, invested $17,000 to help boys and girls in our community get teamed up with outstanding local role models. The donation provided funding for vital upgrades for Big Brothers Big Sisters’ new building and will also help promote the organization’s new brand and mission. The key mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.

“The new building and new brand go hand-in-hand,” said Emily Johnson, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho. “We know there is work to be done in our community and we’re ready to roll up our sleeves and defend the potential of every child here in our community. Owning and improving our building communicates a sense of sustainability to the families and volunteers we serve. We want to make our vision come to life so that all youth will achieve their full potential. Thanks to our friends at Together Treasure Valley, we are closer than ever to our goal!”
