New Basketball Court for the WCA Shelter Campus

Together Treasure Valley, a collaboration of area businesses, is making another valuable investment in our community. The organization is providing $10,000 to cover the additional funding needed for a basketball half-court for the Women’s & Children’s Alliance (WCA) shelter campus. The court will provide recreational opportunities and will include these amenities: a basketball hoop and equipment striping, benches and tables, and landscaping around the court. In addition, Together Treasure Valley will provide two spectator benches near the court. “We are extremely grateful for the incredibly generous support of Together Treasure Valley,” said Bev LaChance, Deputy Director of the WCA. “As the latest example demonstrates, this organization plays a vital, ongoing role in helping to enhance daily life for all of us.” Together Treasure Valley funds a variety of community projects especially designed for the Treasure Valley.
